Anne Frank 2009 is a 2009 Short School Film based on the story of Anne Frank. It was released in May 15 in Mexico and Worldwide on May 16 via YouTube. The Film is Directed by Dylan Serna and stars Laura Gomez as the main Character (Anne Frank), along with Diego Bravo as Otto Frank, Eugenia Garza as Mrs. Frank, Fransisco Otero as Mr. Van Daan, Isabel Serrato as Mrs. Van Daan and Alejandro Hernandez as Peter Van Daan.

Plot

Anne Frank (Laura Gomez), the Frank familly (Diego Bravo, Eugenia Garza), the Van Daan familly (Fransisco Otero, Isabel Serrato and Alejandro Hernandez), Mr. Dussel (Fernando Conde) are forced to hide in a secret annex helped by Mr Kraler (Dylan Serna) and Miep Gies (Isabel Serato) in their home to escape deportation to concentration camps by the Nazis. The Short Film shows Annes conflicts with the others (especially her mother) and her growing closeness to Peter Van Daan (Alejandro Hernandez). It is a time for maturing for Anne, as she adjusts to the isolation. However, she never quite lets go of her dreams of life after the war, life outside of the annex.

The action rises as the situation becomes more and more tenuous, with fears that they would be discovered. Eventually, through and unknown betrayer, the annex residents are arrested.

Was Created as a School Project. The Planing of the Video Started on April 2009.

Filming

It was Filmed in Monterrey, Mexico in April and on the beginnings of May of 2009. There Were 32 Scenes and more than 200 Takes.

The Short Film was Edited By: Dylan Serna, Fernando Conde and Alejandro Hernandez. It Took 2 Days of Cutting all the Scenes, and 2 More Days To Complete the Editing Process.
